About

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. This is a space for honest conversations, fresh insights, and real support for Jewish women navigating midlife.

Hi, I’m Devora.

I’ve always been passionate about helping people live fuller, better lives. These days, that means coaching and supporting Jewish women through midlife — this wild, sometimes confusing, often transformative stage of life. I also host the Jewish Midlife podcast and created Plex as a way to bring more play and expansion into our everyday lives.

Around here, we talk about all the real stuff — relationships, purpose, hormones, identity shifts, and everything in between — with honesty, depth, and maybe a little laughter too.

More about me

Here I am in midlife — supporting other women as they navigate their own.
And honestly, it feels like everything I’ve done until now has led me here.

I care deeply about this stage of life and the women going through it. I know how disorienting it can feel — how it sneaks up on you, how it stirs up questions you didn’t expect. What is happening? Who am I now? What’s next? Why is everything shifting? And how do I make sense of it all?

I asked those same questions myself.

Like many women, I was surprised (and frankly unprepared) for how much midlife can shake things up. Physically, emotionally, socially — everything changes. And while there’s growing awareness in the general world, the Jewish experience of midlife brings its own unique questions, values, and circumstances. And I knew I wasn’t the only one searching for something real.

That’s when I decided to lean in.

I began listening more closely — to myself, to the women around me, to experts who specialize in this season of life. I started learning, reaching out to experts, and sharing what I found. I became a lead learner — and a guide for others looking for answers, support, and a sense of community. I got certified in Menopause Education and Happiness Studies, dove into new research, and started curating tools and conversations that actually helped. Not just theories — real, grounded guidance that made sense for our lives. And I shared with friends, and then created the Jewish Midlife Podcast and platform.

But this isn’t just about information. It’s about care, presence, and support.

That’s what I bring into my coaching today. When I work with women in midlife, it’s not just as a coach — it’s as someone who genuinely gets it. Who brings a mix of warmth, curiosity, practical insight, and a lot of heart. I’m here to help women reconnect to themselves, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My work now includes the Jewish Midlife podcast, where I speak with authors, therapists, doctors, and everyday women — exploring everything from identity shifts and marriage dynamics to hormones, purpose, and creative renewal. And I created Plex, a playful, powerful way to stretch beyond the ordinary and bring more life into life. It’s about saying yes to experiences that expand you — and learning to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion along the way.

People often tell me they feel calmer, clearer, and more hopeful after our conversations. That I help them find words for what they’re going through, and guide them toward what’s possible next. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all answers — I offer a steady hand, sharp insight, and a deep respect for each woman’s journey.

Midlife can be messy and meaningful, disorienting and full of potential. There’s no script — but there is support.

That’s what Jewish Midlife is here for.
That’s what I’m here for.

how i work

I’m not here to tell you what to do — I’m here to listen, reflect, and help you find what’s right for you.
Women I work with often tell me they feel heard, understood, and clearer after just one conversation.

What I bring to every interaction:

  • A deep respect for your unique path
  • A curiosity that leads us to new insights
  • Research-backed tools (I’m always learning!)
  • Practical steps for real life
  • Warmth, humor, and a dose of honesty
