Our morning routines ground us. They center us for a productive day. A solid morning routine can lead to increased motivation for making healthier lifestyle choices as the day unfolds. Some ideas to incorporate:

Embrace Natural Light: Get natural light in your eyes (and skin) within an hour of waking up. Summer: 5-10 minutes. Winter: 30 minutes.

Move Your Body: Kickstart your day with some exercise, ideally outdoors in the fresh air. For an extra boost, aim to exercise in natural surroundings.

Delay the Coffee: Wait 90 minutes before drinking any caffeine to optimize energy levels.
