I have a ton of excitement in my life. I used to call it stress. I feel much better now that I call it excitement.
At the very same circumstance, we can feel anxious or excited. It is all the way we look at it. And we can switch the way we view the situation at any point – through self-talk.
Instead of thinking “I am anxious”, say to yourself “I am excited” – in your mind or out loud. If that is too much of a jump, you can say “I look forward to feeling excited…”
