It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not.

So often there is something we want to do and yet we aren’t doing it. We often have highly critical perceptions of ourselves. And we feel we aren’t [good, fast, smart, witty, etc.] enough and so we just don’t even give it the effort we need. 🙁

But we can view ourselves differently. So that we do take the action we need in our lives.

Then we just have to do it. In this way, we gain experience being the version of who we want to be. And it feels good. (OK, there may be a few wobbly attempts as you gain that experience. It will come with practice.)
