Life is much simpler when we stop trying to explain ourselves. And just start doing what works for us.

Why do so many of us feel that we have to explain our decisions?

When it comes to making important life choices, it’s generally a good idea to take the time to consider your options carefully and to weigh the pros and cons of each option. However, once you’ve made a decision, you don’t necessarily need to explain your reasoning to everyone around you.

In some cases, explaining your decisions to others can lead to unwanted criticism, pressure, or doubt. It’s important to remember that you are the one who knows your own goals, values, and circumstances best, and ultimately you are the one who will have to live with the consequences of your decisions.

That being said, there may be some situations where it’s important to communicate your decision-making process or to seek advice from others. For example, if you’re making a decision that will affect other people, it’s often a good idea to explain your reasoning to them so they can understand where you’re coming from.
